DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Montgomery, Tennessee is seeking to engage a qualified engineering consulting firm to deliver a range of services associated with a roadway and bridge improvement project. The selected vendor will review and update the property owner table for approximately 56 tracts, including subdivision tracts within the right-of-way (ROW) plans that have changed since the completed design phase. The consultant will also conduct a public input meeting, verify utilities along the roadway, and assess updates to roadway and topographic features since the last survey, which was updated in 2022.

Additional responsibilities include reviewing and supplementing the 2022 geotechnical investigation and borings as necessary for bridge design or other project needs. The firm will acquire ROW as required, coordinate with appraisers, negotiators, and landowners, and support the county’s contracted closing attorney for ROW closings. The consultant is also tasked with preparing utility relocation submittals for approval, developing bridge plans and providing a cost estimate for a structure over SR-76, and delivering engineering services to prepare bidding and construction documents in compliance with the project's construction phase requirements.
