Engineer Consultant Services

The government authority in Cerritos, CA is seeking an experienced engineering consultant to manage district engineering operations and initiatives. The consultant will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of the district’s engineering division, managing the capital improvement program, and executing a variety of tasks related to both potable and recycled water systems as assigned by management.

Key responsibilities include oversight of major projects such as the Proposition 1 – Recycled Water Pipeline and Customer Retrofits project, coordination of utility and data requests, and management of upgrades to the Rio Hondo Pump Station's SCADA signals. The consultant will also handle facility shutdown notifications for the recycled water system, organize and participate in weekly recycled water operations meetings, and supervise both planned and unplanned facility repairs. Additionally, the role involves leading the Recycled Water System Infrastructure Condition Assessment project to ensure system integrity and operational efficiency.
