Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The selected consultant will develop a secondary planning strategy for the Enfield area, which encompasses land within the Growth Reserve Area primarily held in private ownership. As part of the strategy, the consultant will facilitate opportunities for landowners and local community members to provide input on future development within the study area.
Responsibilities include making recommendations related to stormwater servicing and management, and conducting a thorough review of the current capacity of the existing regional wastewater treatment plant in Lantz, in collaboration with municipal staff. This assessment will determine the plant's ability to support anticipated growth in the Enfield secondary planning strategy study area and identify any significant constraints.
The scope also requires an outline of the methodology for preparing predictive wetland mapping, as well as an analysis to support a potential review of the study area boundaries in light of development constraints. The planning strategy aligns with the economic prosperity priorities identified in the overarching strategic plan for the region.
