Energy Management Information System

A corporation in British Columbia is seeking a vendor to provide an Energy Management Information System (EMIS) that supports comprehensive data integration, emissions tracking, and robust reporting capabilities. The EMIS should integrate with Microsoft Entra ID for authentication and role-based permission management. Key requirements include the ability to import historic data, as well as automate and schedule imports of energy consumption and emissions data from multiple sources, such as vendor invoices, spreadsheets, CSV files, and APIs.

The system must facilitate integration with various major data categories, including fuel data, P-Card files, and vendor-provided datasets. Vendors are expected to outline their methodology and any assumptions regarding data integration processes. The solution should enable tracking of energy usage across multiple facilities, support monitoring and trend analysis, and calculate scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions in accordance with current standards.

Reporting features should include user-friendly dashboards, KPI monitoring, and integration with Microsoft Power BI. Other important criteria include seamless system upgrades, low maintenance costs, and compliance with the organization's IT standards and security requirements.
