DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Texas is seeking an experienced firm to provide energy consulting and electricity procurement advisory services. The selected vendor will validate and organize critical account and load data to support future electricity procurements, including overseeing changes to accounts, meters, and the contract portfolio. Responsibilities include developing a comprehensive procurement strategy and calendar for post–current–term electricity supply needs, recommending optimal procurement windows and options, and delivering ongoing market intelligence, timing advice, and detailed written updates to district administration.

The successful consultant will obtain and evaluate competitive electricity pricing from various qualified providers, review rate structures and utility billing accuracy, and provide support for account maintenance tasks such as meter and address changes. The advisor will also identify opportunities to achieve rebates, credits, and other utility-related savings for the district. Additionally, the vendor must prepare clear reports and dashboards and fully disclose any financial or advisory relationships that could impact recommendations.
