Fayette County Ems
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The county is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive billing and revenue cycle management services for Emergency Medical Services (EMS). The selected provider will handle all facets of EMS billing, including insurance eligibility verification, claim coding, electronic claim submission, payment posting and reconciliation, secondary and tertiary billing, denial management and appeals, refund processing, and self-pay patient billing with diligent follow-up.
A web-based EMS billing platform is required, which must allow real-time access to payments and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) without the need for additional county-provided hardware. The solution should support integrated document attachment and provide daily deposit reconciliation reports and payment summaries for transparency and accountability.
Additionally, the vendor will deliver both initial and ongoing training for EMS crews, including NAAC-certified documentation training. The provider must conduct quarterly compliance reviews and maintain rigorous HIPAA compliance monitoring to ensure confidentiality and legal adherence throughout all operations.
