Employer of Record Service

The government authority located in Washington, DC is seeking proposals for employer of record services for a one-year contract. The selected vendor will be responsible for the provision and administration of all mandatory statutory benefits, including health insurance, pension, or indemnity schemes, in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Duties include preparing payroll, processing all payments due to workers (such as salaries, reimbursements, and advances), and ensuring all transactions adhere to local labor laws and contractual obligations. The vendor must also administer workers' compensation coverage or any equivalent statutory insurance where required. Additional responsibilities include calculating and administering severance obligations and managing deduction, remittance, and reporting of all applicable taxes and statutory contributions, including income tax, social security, payroll taxes, and other mandatory contributions or deductions as stipulated by law.
