An organization in North Carolina is seeking a consultancy to provide comprehensive employee relations (ER) support services. The selected consultant will offer expertise in employee relations investigations, case management, and the development of capability-building initiatives within the people and culture function.
Key responsibilities include serving as the lead investigator for assigned employee relations matters, such as misconduct allegations, policy violations, and employee concerns. The consultant will be expected to develop structured investigation plans, interview protocols, findings summaries, and comprehensive investigation reports, ensuring all processes are conducted in accordance with organizational policies, employment law, and best practices.
Additional duties involve providing real-time consultation on active ER cases, iterating and improving existing tools such as intake templates, investigation checklists, and case categorization frameworks, as well as building a scalable, standardized ER operating model. The consultant will work closely with relevant stakeholders to support the adoption and integration of the new model, with the goal of enhancing consistency and quality in employee relations practices during a period of organizational change.
