An Alberta agency is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-based employee recognition software platform to cultivate a culture of appreciation and drive employee engagement. The selected software should enable both social and peer-to-peer recognition, allowing for public and private acknowledgment of individual and team accomplishments. The platform should emphasize recognition over rewards, with an option to hide the rewards catalogue from users if desired.
Core requirements include the ability for real-time, on-the-spot recognition, flexible recognition criteria, and a customizable points-based system that integrates with a gift catalogue or other incentives. The platform must support recognition at multiple organizational levels—peer, managerial, departmental, or team-wide—and feature dashboards for tracking recognition activity, including frequency and cross-department interactions. Additional technical requirements include customizable access levels for admins, managers, and employees, a user-friendly interface, and the ability to generate exportable data reports. The contract term for this initiative is one year.
