DESCRIPTION
The government authority located in San Antonio, Texas seeks a qualified vendor to provide employee healthcare insurance and administrative services. Services must include administration of fully-insured vision and dental insurance plans, cost-effective service with efficient loss control, and claims processing. The selected organization will also be responsible for plan administration that matches the current vision plan design and schedule of benefits.
In addition, the vendor must provide stop loss carrier detail claims necessary for managing the stop loss program, with third-party stop loss reporting supported by an existing contract for stop loss insurance. Vendors are expected to enhance accountability of healthcare costs through education and transparent communication between employees and the employer.
