DESCRIPTION


A government authority in Willimantic, Connecticut is seeking an experienced vendor to provide employee benefits consultant services for a one-year contract. The selected consultant will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of health, dental, and vision insurance plan designs, as well as negotiating employee benefits with labor unions. Key services include conducting cost analyses of health and vision insurance plans, ongoing evaluation of plan design and claims utilization, and presenting results to management, policy bodies, and employee groups.

Additional responsibilities include coordinating benefit changes with insurance carriers, supporting open enrollment meetings, communicating changes to employees, and monitoring claims performance.
