DESCRIPTION

The City of Compton, California is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) service for all municipal employees and their eligible dependents. The program will include a wide range of services, such as support for supervisors and managers addressing employee performance, attendance, behavioral issues, and overall workplace concerns.

Additional program components include access to workshops, webinars, videos, and informational sessions designed to enhance awareness and utilization of EAP resources. Educational materials and resources will be provided to promote the program, along with specialized training for employees and supervisors on topics like stress management, mental health awareness, work–life balance, and resilience.

Vendors should demonstrate a deep understanding of the unique challenges associated with public safety roles, particularly exposure to traumatic incidents and high–risk work environments. The service should also offer access to diverse resources and benefits, including fitness and lifestyle discounts, financial consultation services, elder and childcare resources, and other life-management tools. Robust online tools, self-help materials, and resource libraries are expected, along with the provision of reports and data for program evaluation as requested.
