The government authority located in Athens, Georgia seeks a vendor to provide employee and retiree medical benefits services for the 2027 plan year. The selected provider will be responsible for delivering both self-funded and fully insured medical proposals. This program will support comprehensive health insurance and medical savings accounts for approximately 1,500 benefit-eligible full-time employees and about 800 benefit-eligible retirees.
The city provides a wide range of local and state-funded services, including Public Safety, Utilities, Courts, Corrections, Tax, and Fire Services. Vendors must be able to accommodate the unique needs of a municipal workforce and retired population. All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by April 20, 2026.
