The selected vendor will provide comprehensive emergency medical transport billing services for county EMS operations. Services include data entry, data processing, billing, insurance claims filing, collections, mailing of notices, internal and external reporting, account follow-up, customer service support, compliance, and training for EMS personnel.
Vendors must utilize a billing system that adheres to generally accepted accounting principles and maintains accurate accounting procedures for reconciling payments, bank deposits, receivables, billings, patient accounts, adjustments, and refunds between the contractor’s system and county records. All Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance claims are to be promptly submitted upon receipt of the necessary information, with appropriate logs maintained for all electronic submissions.
A site visit is scheduled for March 26, 2026, and questions regarding the RFP should be submitted by March 27, 2026.
