DESCRIPTION
This request is for a vendor to provide comprehensive billing services for emergency medical services (EMS) calls and claims, consistent with the implementation of an electronic documentation system. The selected company will be responsible for offering hardware, software, licenses, support, and training for a tablet-based solution.
The required system must be proven and capable of capturing field data, electronic signatures, and clinical data directly from EKG monitors and defibrillators. It is essential that the solution includes web-based access to reports, seamless integration with EKG monitors, and automatic integration with the billing platform. Additionally, the system must support the ability to fax patient care reports (PCRs) to destination hospitals if they are not printed in the emergency department.
The chosen provider will demonstrate a track record of effective EMS billing, technological capability for data integration, and delivering end-to-end support and training.
