DESCRIPTION
The agency is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive billing, collection, and posting services for its emergency medical services (EMS). The selected contractor will be tasked with accepting patient data necessary for billing, which will be provided from a system called ESO. It is required that the vendor procure software compatible with ESO to facilitate the secure transfer and entry of data into the contractor’s billing system.
Mandatory responsibilities include billing non-transported patients as dictated by county policy, preparing necessary management and financial reports with details on delinquent accounts, and ideally offering real-time financial information that covers billed amounts, payments, and outstanding balances. The initial contract term is set for one year.
