The solution must feature scripted case entry questions to collect critical information such as address, telephone number, chief complaint, age, sex, consciousness, breathing status, and the number of victims. Scripted key questions tailored to each medical chief complaint are also required to ensure consistent and accurate information gathering.
The software should deliver scripted pre-arrival instructions, focusing on essential actions and decision points for dispatchers to communicate. Protocols must be maintained and updated by the International Academy of Emergency Dispatch, and the system should facilitate call prioritization with recommendations for appropriate call types based on incident specifics. Customization capabilities are essential, allowing the software to integrate with existing protocols and systems currently in use.
Additionally, the emergency medical dispatch system must include an automated quality assurance case review program. This component should provide comprehensive case histories, comparative records, and individual dispatcher performance statistics to support ongoing quality improvement. Interested parties must submit all questions regarding the RFP by January 29, 2026.
