DESCRIPTION


The government authority is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive emergency management consulting services. The selected consultant will support the agency in the aftermath of a natural disaster, assisting with the receipt of funds and the identification of eligible emergency and permanent work.

Key responsibilities include helping attain immediate needs funding, prioritizing recovery workloads, and offering expertise in loss measurement, categorization, insurance evaluation, documentation adjusting, and settlement services. The consultant will facilitate Project Worksheet generation, interim and final inspections, supplemental worksheet creation, final reviews, and provide appeal and negotiation services as required.

Qualified administrative and document controls staff must assist in all documentation related to incident response and disaster recovery funding, and guide the agency regarding compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, the firm will provide grant management advice to maximize reimbursement for disaster recovery expenses. The contract will run for one year.
