The selected vendor will provide emergency food assistance program services to eligible households and homeless shelters in New Mexico. Responsibilities include furnishing any required reports to the Distributing Agency upon request, as well as regularly updating disaster contact information for normal business hours, after hours, and weekends on a quarterly basis.
The vendor must maintain receipts for all expenses related to acquiring and distributing fresh produce. They are also responsible for delivering both purchased and donated fresh fruits and vegetables to designated distribution sites that serve low-income residents. This program supports the state's efforts to ensure food security among its most vulnerable populations.
