DESCRIPTION
The district seeks a vendor to provide a comprehensive electronic resources and multimedia downloads solution. Providers should be able to offer a wide range of digital books, magazines, videos, music, and other downloadable content, along with supporting resources such as database access and related services.
The solution must include access to fiction and non-fiction e-books and e-audiobooks, magazines, and streaming video and music in all subject areas and languages. Seamless integration with the district’s website, patron authentication systems, and catalog systems using standard protocols is required. The platform should support end-user printing capabilities, deliver MARC catalog records, and include metadata features such as images, cover art, and detailed collection information. Tools for collection development and robust metadata support will be considered advantageous.
