A vendor is sought to deploy a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) solution in Virginia. The project requires the integration of multiple commercially available, off-the-shelf (COTS) EHR components sourced from several vendors, resulting in a highly complex system architecture.
The solution will function as a system of systems, consisting of 12 major subsystems and utilizing 81 interfaces to connect with over 1,000 endpoints. This infrastructure must be capable of processing at least 20 million messages daily, necessitating robust integration and scalability to support operational demands. Vendors with experience in large-scale EHR integration are encouraged to express their interest.
