DESCRIPTION

The procuring entity is seeking a vendor to provide an electronic drawing development and management system equipped with graphical tools for storing and sharing engineering drawings, assigning space, and reporting usage among organizational groups. The system must support multiple users and multi-tasking operations within the organization.

Contractor responsibilities include meeting with the VA Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to develop a file naming system, and capturing both existing paper and electronic drawings into an organized electronic library. This will enable efficient access and sharing among internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally, the vendor must build a Capital Asset Inventory (CAI) database and reporting system that allows medical centers to track space assignments and generate comprehensive reports, including CAI reports. All drawings and data are to be hosted securely on a contractor-operated server, with appropriate user login access provided.
