A government authority located in Galveston, Texas is seeking a vendor for electrical and network wiring services. The scope includes on-demand repairs and maintenance of electrical and low-voltage systems, installation and upgrades to support agency operations, as well as diagnostic services to identify system failures, inefficiencies, and safety concerns. The selected contractor must also provide 24/7 emergency response for critical outages.
Network wiring requirements cover structured cabling (Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic systems), patch panels, racks, terminations, cable management, conduit and pathway systems, RS-485 compliant access control cabling, and testing, certification, and labeling of cabling systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing network wiring.
Electrical services encompass installing and removing panels, load centers, circuit breakers, wiring, rewiring, conduit installation, lighting systems, fixtures, controls, electrical outlets, switches, distribution systems, and equipment connections such as HVAC, pumps, or generators. The contractor is expected to perform troubleshooting and repairs for these electrical systems. The contract period is three years.
