DESCRIPTION

A North Carolina entity seeks to procure a comprehensive online courseware platform tailored for students in grades 6 through 12. The objective is to secure a centralized, standards-aligned, and secure eLearning solution that supports student achievement, ensures compliance, and meets numeric grade calculation requirements as mandated by local policies. The platform must offer a complete course catalog, inclusive of both First-Time credit and Credit Recovery offerings, and ensure instructional rigor and academic integrity by validating course credit through demonstrated mastery and authentic student work.

Key requirements include structured instructional pacing, compatibility with provided devices through minimum technology standards, and a secure cloud-based infrastructure adhering to industry-standard data security protocols. The solution should incorporate a comprehensive implementation plan, support data migration, and provide ongoing technical support. Additional features must cover numeric grade calculation, credit award tracking, data export and dashboard integration via secure APIs, role-based access control, and data encryption both in transit and at rest. The platform is to include adaptive learning, prescriptive credit recovery pathways, embedded glossaries and literacy supports, closed captioning for all multimedia content, 24/7 coursework access, and multilingual translation for English Learners. The contract is anticipated to last five years.
