DESCRIPTION


An agency in South Carolina is seeking bids for the provision of Elastic Enterprise software subscriptions and associated professional services. The required Elastic Enterprise software must support capabilities such as distributed search and analytics, hot/warm/cold data tiering, Index Lifecycle Management (ILM), security telemetry ingestion and analysis, Elastic Common Schema (ECS) support, threat detection utilizing KQL, ESQL, and EQL, security investigations and case management, role-based access control, TLS encryption in transit, and SAML/OIDC identity integration.

Professional services under this contract include designing a production-ready Elastic Security architecture, configuring deployment tiers and ILM policies, engineering data ingestion pipelines for up to ten security data sources, validating ingestion throughput (up to 500 GB per day), ECS normalization, setting up TLS encryption and RBAC, integrating with university SSO via SAML or OIDC, deploying and tuning at least fifty detection rules, migrating current security monitoring use cases, and conducting performance benchmarking and validation. The contract will be in effect for a period of three years. Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by May 7, 2026.
