DESCRIPTION


The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research to identify qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), or other small businesses capable of executing a construction project at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. The project involves the renovation of office space on the 4th floor of Building 5 to create training and administrative areas, with all work required to be completed without disrupting ongoing medical center operations. The anticipated magnitude for this firm-fixed-price contract is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000.

Interested firms should be able to self-perform at least 15% of the project, as required by Public Law 109-461, and must demonstrate the ability to secure performance and payment bonds up to $5M.
