DESCRIPTION


The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified contractor to perform EHRM infrastructure upgrades at the Lyons VA Medical Center in Lyons, New Jersey. This design–bid–build construction project requires comprehensive renovations to support new electronic health record modernization (EHRM) initiatives.

Scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, supervision, and quality assurance for the installation, testing, and certification of extensive Cat6a cabling interconnecting all buildings, upgrades to normal and emergency electrical distribution systems, and enhancements to physical security and access control systems. Additional improvements will be made to the finishes of new or modified rooms, including walls, floors, and ceilings, with a strong emphasis on proactive safety and infection control compliance. All project tasks must fully adhere to the statement of work, drawings, and specifications, ensuring a complete and fully functional system.
