An organization in Ireland is seeking a qualified vendor to provide ongoing development, maintenance, and enhancement services for an educational cyber range platform. This platform is currently used to simulate cybersecurity attacks and user interactions, assess the resilience of IT networks for business and industry clients, and offer realistic training environments for cybersecurity professionals. It also supports onsite testing capabilities for operational technology (OT) and internet of things (IoT) networks, particularly within manufacturing and process industry settings where assets include physical monitoring and control systems.
The selected vendor will be responsible for the continued operation, maintenance, and technical servicing of both the Airbus system hardware and software supporting this cyber range. Responsibilities also include hosting and operational support for new deployments, development and integration of updated training materials, as well as the creation of new attack and defense scenarios and test cases. Ongoing upgrades will be necessary to ensure the platform evolves alongside emerging cybersecurity threats and changing industry requirements. The scope additionally encompasses hardware and software enhancements to expand the CR8 system, which may involve provisioning additional servers and updated software components. The contract is anticipated to span five years.
