A Nevada recreational area is seeking a qualified vendor to perform an economic impact study and develop a comprehensive winter safety management strategic plan. The selected firm will be responsible for creating a written master and strategic plan that enables collaboration among community stakeholders, government entities, and the public to enhance safety measures while supporting greater accessibility for all users.
Key activities include organizing public and partner meetings, facilitating opportunities for public feedback, and summarizing stakeholder input. The vendor will also be expected to identify and address data gaps emerging from surveys and public meetings, collaborating with a core stakeholder group to incorporate this information into the final plan. Additional responsibilities include recommending strategies in response to issues identified during stakeholder assessments, conducting site visits with relevant land managers and grant coordinators, and sharing applicable survey models from similar contexts.
