DESCRIPTION


The contracting organization seeks an economic development organization, firm, or partnership to serve as the lead provider of comprehensive economic development services for a one-year contract period. The selected contractor will work with organizational leadership to advance strategic initiatives that promote private investment, business retention and expansion, job creation, industrial and commercial development, and long-term economic growth.

Services will include strategic planning, business recruitment and retention, TradePort and industrial park development, site readiness, economic development marketing, grant and funding assistance, stakeholder coordination, and implementation of projects that strengthen the county’s economic competitiveness. The contractor will also provide ongoing reporting, performance tracking, and technical expertise in support of economic development priorities.

The contractor will develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and business attraction program, promote economic development opportunities through digital and traditional media, prepare site information and investment prospectus materials, and develop and maintain property profiles and marketing materials. Additional activities include strategy support, marketing campaigns, a strategic marketing plan, and participation in promotional events. Questions must be submitted by August 7, 2026.
