DESCRIPTION
The city is seeking a provider for economic development director services to develop and implement both short-term and long-term strategies that foster sustainable growth, redevelopment, and job creation. The selected vendor will be responsible for directing business recruitment, expansion, and retention efforts, as well as engaging with developers, investors, and businesses on potential projects and opportunities throughout the city.
Key responsibilities include identifying redevelopment opportunities, preparing support strategies for commercial investment, and managing programs to encourage adaptive reuse and redevelopment of underutilized properties.
