A government authority in Everett, Massachusetts is seeking a vendor to facilitate an early literacy screening review process and provide expert guidance and resources. The selected vendor will lead the review of early literacy screening assessments for grades K–3, develop a comprehensive project plan, and create and maintain agendas for weekly meetings to monitor progress and discuss action items.
The facilitator will advise on draft criteria for early literacy screening assessments, support the creation of an approved assessment list, and provide educator-friendly summaries of all reviewed tools. Additionally, the vendor will develop a one-page guide to help interpret screening results for multilingual learners, with special attention to differentiating between reading risks and typical second language acquisition. The contract period will last one year.
