Provide a 13-15 minute continuous drone light show.
Show to begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2026.
All drones must launch, fly, and land from the designated flight area behind the United Bankshares Amphitheatre.
Ensure all flight paths, safety buffers, and crowd separation distances meet or exceed FAA regulations and industry best practices.
The City of Kennesaw will select and approve all images, animations, text, and themes displayed during the drone show.
Proposals must include time for coordination meetings, concept revisions, and final approvals.
Final creative content must be approved by the City no later than a mutually agreed-upon deadline.
Indicate whether the system is capable of synchronizing drone choreography to music and identify any additional costs.
Furnish all labor, drones, software, equipment, personnel, supervision, and technology necessary to design, program, rehearse, execute, and safely conclude the show.
All personnel must be properly trained and certified.
Provide a detailed timeline for pre-event setup, testing flights, rehearsals, and post-event breakdown.
All equipment must be removed from the site following the completion of the show.
Conduct the drone show in full compliance with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, state and local laws, and industry safety standards.
Obtain, at own expense, all required FAA waivers, authorizations, permits, and approvals (e.g., Part 107, LAANC, night operations, operations over people, swarm operations, TFRs, NOTAMs).
Obtain and coordinate all local, state, and interagency approvals (e.g., Kennesaw Police Department, Cobb Fire Department, Emergency Management, Parks & Recreation Department).
Secure written authorization for all takeoff, landing, staging, and flight areas.
Submit all required permits, approvals, and authorizations to the City for review and confirmation no later than 45 days prior to the scheduled event date.
Provide evidence that all drone pilots and operators are properly licensed under FAA Part 107 and any other applicable regulations.
Provide insurance coverage protecting the City, spectators, and property, with minimum limits of $2,000,000 per occurrence for bodily injury and $2,000,000 for property damage.
The City of Kennesaw must be named as an additional insured on all required policies.
Certificates of insurance must be provided no less than 60 days prior to the event.
Comply with federal work authorization requirements pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 13-10-91.
Certify compliance with the Georgia Drug-Free Workplace Act (O.C.G.A. 50-24-1).
Provide company background, years in business, areas of expertise, number of employees, and experience with municipal or large-scale public drone shows.
Provide a written and/or visual description of the proposed drone show, including approximate number of drones (no fewer than 300), visual style, animation capabilities, and examples of past drone shows.
Describe the process of working with the City to develop, revise, and finalize imagery and show content.
Provide a timeline for planning, creative development, permitting, setup, testing, and execution.
List all key personnel, certifications, licenses, and years of experience.
Provide proposed fees, including total fee, breakdown of costs, additional fees for music synchronization, payment terms, and any available discounts.
Proposals shall exclude federal and state taxes.
Provide a minimum of three references for similar drone light shows performed within the past five years.
Proposals must be signed by a representative who is authorized to contractually bind the Proposer.
Submit one identified original copy plus three copies of the proposals.
