The state of West Virginia is seeking a vendor to modernize its motor vehicle administration systems, including the driver license system and a digital vehicle titling and registration system. The scope of work encompasses the design, development, testing, training, deployment, operation, and maintenance of these systems.
Key responsibilities include managing the issuance and renewal of driver licenses in compliance with both state and federal laws and regulations, covering graduated licenses, commercial driver licenses, and Real ID-compliant license documents. The vendor will also provide vehicle registration services, such as issuing initial vehicle registrations, renewing vehicle registrations, and collecting associated taxes and fees.
This contract will span a period of five years, with comprehensive support and ongoing system maintenance required throughout its duration.
