A government authority in Hawaii is seeking information from qualified vendors to provide domestic violence shelter services. These services should be age and developmentally appropriate, client-centered, and tailored to the unique needs of individuals while building on their strengths to promote enhanced safety and independence. Service planning, delivery, and discharge must be coordinated in conjunction with clients and guided by their needs and perspectives.
The scope of services includes completing assessments of clients’ specific circumstances, overall case management and coordination, as well as support for shelter, food, safety, and other essentials. Additional activities may include benefits and referral services, victim and legal advocacy, crisis intervention, services for children, and group sessions. Scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekends, may be required to best support clients. Providers must notify the assigned caseworker of discharges and relevant service details. Shelter facility requirements and service delivery standards must be met.
The contract period is expected to be two years. All questions must be submitted by May 5, 2026, and a pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for May 1, 2026.
