SUMMARY

Florida seeks a vendor for a two-year contract to provide a transformer monitoring system with cloud dashboard, real-time diagnostics, and asset tracking.

DESCRIPTION

The State of Florida is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive distribution transformer monitoring system under a two-year contract. The solution must include a cloud dashboard or web-based local interface, delivering real-time alarms, health diagnostics, and unified monitoring of all connected devices through a single-pane-of-glass view. Vendors should offer hosted data services, supporting both historical analysis and real-time insights, as well as GIS location capabilities using built-in GPS for map-based asset visualization and geographic tracking.

Key requirements include 24/7 technical assistance, onboarding and training support, and ongoing firmware and software upgrades. The system must incorporate strong security, such as role-based access control, data encryption, and secure firmware with signed over-the-air updates. It should provide programmable alert thresholds and triggers for load, voltage, and other critical metrics; monitor network protector status, door alarms, and flood switches; and deliver power quality analysis for voltage, current, and electrical anomalies. API access is also required to enable seamless data integration and automation.

An optional pre-proposal meeting for interested parties will be held on December 29, 2025. This opportunity is ideal for vendors specializing in utility asset monitoring and smart grid technologies.
