The selected vendor will provide disaster recovery public assistance consulting services to government authorities in Evans, Georgia. Core responsibilities include technical, administrative, and training support to facilitate damage assessment, disaster recovery activities, project estimation, FEMA force account management, and the assembly of documentation for small and large projects. The consultant will guide the county through federal procurement requirements, grant procurement, and administration, offering grant management advice for federal and state agency pass-through grants.
Additional tasks involve reviewing and advising on contracts for contingency services and supplies, developing scopes of work, and supporting purchasing documentation. The consultant will assist the county in compiling initial damage assessments and responding to special documentation requirements necessary for reimbursement processes.
