A government authority in Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide services for the addition of a dining room and various interior renovations. The scope includes protecting adjacent structures, property, and existing landscaping features such as trees, shrubs, and lawn areas throughout construction. Vendors must coordinate scheduled control measures to minimize land disturbance and effectively reduce erosion and sedimentation during the project's earth-moving operations.
As part of the project requirements, runoff water must be managed to prevent sediment from leaving the site, and backfill material must be maintained at optimum moisture for compaction. Upon completion of building demolition, a list of removed or salvaged items is to be submitted, and all building demolition tasks must follow a thorough survey and inventory process. Vendors must also ensure all hazardous materials have been remediated before proceeding with demolition operations.
