SUMMARY

The NRL's LASR seeks a digital twin software solution to virtually model and simulate its facility and assets, supporting advanced RAS research and testing.

DESCRIPTION

The Laboratory for Autonomous Systems Research (LASR) at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) is seeking a high-fidelity digital twin solution to model and simulate its facilities, equipment, and various platforms. This digital twin will serve as an accessible tool for NRL researchers, enabling them to simulate robotic and autonomous system (RAS) behaviors within realistic digital representations of the physical environments.

The intent is to facilitate controlled exploration and extensive test and evaluation of RAS technologies in virtual environments, thereby reducing costs and risks associated with physical testing. The digital twin should faithfully replicate LASR’s physical assets and enable experiments across diverse environmental conditions. NRL invites information from qualified sources capable of delivering a solution that meets the requirements outlined in the attached Statement of Work.
