Ontario is seeking a qualified vendor to implement a unified digital recognition platform for employees and physicians. The selected provider will introduce a modern, scalable solution that consolidates existing recognition practices into a single system, accessible across multiple sites and compatible with both desk-based and non-desk staff, including shift workers. Features of the platform should include peer-to-peer, leader-to-team, and organization-wide recognition, as well as automated workflows for service anniversaries and milestone achievements.
The recognition system must be configurable for points- or rewards-based models and offer access to a comprehensive rewards catalogue featuring e-gift cards, charitable donations, branded merchandise, and the management of a custom swag store. Custom branding aligned with Ontario’s visual identity is required, as well as fulfillment, taxation compliance, and bilingual support. The platform should provide robust reporting with analytics for recognition frequency, participation rates, and departmental trends, alongside capabilities for exporting data and integrating with existing analytics systems.
A collaborative design phase will establish custom workflows and branding, while an implementation plan will address data migration, testing, piloting, and training for all user groups. Ongoing technical support, a service-level agreement, dedicated account management, quarterly reviews, and product roadmap updates are expected. The contract will be for a three-year term.
