The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is seeking a vendor to provide digital modernization advisory and consultation services to support the collective needs of multiple divisions. The selected vendor will conduct a comprehensive inventory and technical assessment of GBI’s legacy systems, documenting findings to inform modernization planning and prioritization.
Key responsibilities include developing a repeatable prioritization framework to identify and select public safety application systems for modernization. The vendor will evaluate statewide public safety systems to pinpoint opportunities that enhance resilience, interoperability, and alignment with public safety technology standards. Additionally, a thorough analysis of modernization platform options and the definition of a future-state integration architecture are required to ensure seamless interoperability and limit operational disruptions.
The scope also involves creating a multi-phase modernization roadmap for the GBI, including detailed timelines, key milestones, resource allocation plans, dependencies, and budgetary projections to guide strategic decision-making. The contract for these services will be issued for a one-year period.
