Seeking a consultant for thematic storytelling, beneficiary interviews, and graphic design updates in support of an innovation programme in Switzerland.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Development, Humanities, Politics, Communications, Journalism, Insurance, Finance, or a related field
Experience creating and editing infographic images and videos such as animated graphics cards and explainer/testimonial-style videos
Experience in copywriting and copy-editing to deliver reports (minimum 2 published PDF reports/academic papers) and digital content production (minimum 1 interactive, digital report)
At least 1 year of experience in editing websites using Drupal and open-source content platforms such as Exposure and Mailchimp
Experience implementing digital communications strategies/campaigns for a development or academic institution (advantageous)
Fluency (very high proficiency) in written and spoken English
High level of proficiency in French and Spanish (advantageous)
Submit a short methodology (maximum 5 bullets) for a digital content plan for a new flood-risk insurance solution in Ghana, including one drafted LinkedIn social media post and an accompanying visual

DESCRIPTION

The organization is seeking a vendor to provide digital engagement consultant services. The consultant will be responsible for drafting two thematic stories, each approximately 1,000 words, focused on gender-related and MSME-related solutions, using outlines and inputs provided by the team.

Additionally, the consultant will support liaison activities with three country offices to gather testimonial content and photographs from beneficiaries. This will include collecting 500 words of testimonials and three photographs for each of three 500-word stories for the IRFF exposure page related to the innovation programme, under supervision.

Supervisors will finalize all content. The consultant will also assist in the creation and updating of eight square graphic design cards on Adobe Pro for insurance innovation challenge winners, using existing templates and following provided guidelines.
