For staff, the platform should include web-based workflows for collection creation, bulk ingest options, granular permission controls, metadata export and import, and support for a wide array of file formats including images, text, and audio/video. It should also offer embargo capability, custom metadata fields, integration with controlled vocabularies, and leverage AI technologies for enhanced metadata and automated transcription.
Implementation services should encompass a detailed project timeline, comprehensive training programs, and access to a dedicated training server. Administrative features must include full platform control, robust statistical reporting, and seamless compatibility with analytics solutions such as Google Analytics. Additional capabilities should include support for multiple sites with unique web domains, sophisticated image and paged content viewers with pan, zoom, rotate, and search highlight functionality, as well as advanced filtering and search tools for public users.
