The agency seeks a vendor to provide a comprehensive digital archive and preservation platform. The solution will be utilized to preserve and share all digital archival materials selected by the agency, supporting both internal and public access with multiple levels of security and authorization. The platform must align with the agency’s mission to act as a gateway for community engagement, education, and inspiration by ensuring that Florida’s story can be easily accessed and explored in a user-friendly, informative manner.

Required features include a fully configurable, cloud-native digital storage with advanced digital preservation capabilities. This encompasses file integrity and fixity checks, anti-virus scanning, preservation of master and access copies, complete file migration records, support for lossless file types, controlled access, reliable file backups, and secure file verification processes. Cataloging tools must allow for detailed metadata entry and viewing, facilitate hierarchical organization of archival materials, support the creation of relationships among items and keywords across collections, and enable global search and filtering from all directories.

Furthermore, the platform should offer innovative ways to manage and present digital assets to expanding audiences, providing immersive digital collections with robust search functionality, adaptable and responsive interfaces, and a flexible user experience. The solution must also offer role-based access privileges, supporting Admin, Staff, and Volunteer authorization levels.
