The county seeks a vendor to provide a comprehensive digital accessibility and ADA compliance solution. The primary objective is to deliver a modern, accessible, and user-friendly digital experience for all residents. The chosen solution must be scalable and capable of supporting the county’s digital accessibility requirements, including website accessibility, document remediation, ongoing monitoring, compliance tracking, and tools to enhance user engagement.
Vendors are expected to offer tools or services that evaluate, monitor, and improve accessibility across the county’s public-facing website, including automated scanning, issue identification, prioritization, and actionable remediation recommendations. The solution should provide optional user engagement enhancements, such as guided assistance, chatbot functionality, or alternative content access. Document accessibility for PDFs and other formats is a key requirement, enabling the county to remediate and improve digital document usability.
Integration with existing county systems and workflows is required, including compatibility with content management systems and document repositories, all with minimal disruption to current operations. The solution should include reporting capabilities, dashboards, and exportable summaries to track accessibility status, monitor trends, and document improvements over time.
