The City of Brighton, Colorado is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive design services for its core city waterline replacement project. The scope of work includes conducting detailed surveys, subsurface utility engineering (SUE), and the creation of approximately 20 utility test holes. Vendors will be responsible for preparing construction bid documents, including phasing plans and profiles of both proposed and existing utilities.
Additionally, the selected provider will evaluate potential soil and groundwater interaction issues, and recommend street cross-section configurations for areas impacted by trenching and subsequent replacement. Deliverables will include a topographic design survey, detailed construction plans, and an engineer’s opinion of probable construction costs. The final construction document plan set will feature a cover sheet, note sheet, demolition plan, plan and profile sheet, erosion and sediment control sheet, signage and striping sheet, and detail sheet.
Interested vendors should note that all project-related questions must be submitted by December 5, 2025.
