Design Professional Services for Student Building Renovation

A government authority in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking qualified design professionals to provide comprehensive services for the renovation of a student building. The scope of services includes confirming existing field conditions, completing project programming, and working collaboratively to coordinate audiovisual, information technology, data, and security infrastructure with vendors selected by the college.

Upon design approval, the selected consultant will be responsible for preparing construction documents detailed enough to facilitate public bidding, including revisions to the budget as needed. During the bid period, the consultant will support the district by issuing addenda, reviewing prior approval requests, and addressing other pre-construction needs.

Additionally, the design professional will assist contractors throughout the construction phase by interpreting documents, issuing supplemental instructions and proposal requests, processing change orders, reviewing shop drawings, conducting construction observation, and providing punch lists and close-out services. The contract is planned for a two-year term, with key dates including a pre-bid meeting and submission deadline for questions.
