A government authority located in Pima, Arizona is seeking a vendor to provide design engineering services for airport-related projects. The scope of work encompasses planning, procuring, and preparing surveys, geotechnical engineering investigations, field investigations, and engineering studies essential for effective project design. Providers will also be responsible for biological and cultural resource assessments, including surveys, evaluations, inventory reports, and mitigation plans as required.
Additional responsibilities include developing both draft and final Preliminary Initial Site Assessments (PISA) for hazardous materials within airport property, potential right-of-way, and associated easements. The selected firm will create design schematics, sketches, and address environmental and aesthetic considerations, alongside project recommendations, preliminary layouts, and cost estimates.
The services further involve collecting engineering data, conducting field and geotechnical investigations, preparing detailed engineering reports, and producing comprehensive plans, specifications, cost estimates, and construction schedules. The contract period is set for one year.
