Design Coordinator Services

The government authority in Vancouver, WA is seeking a qualified vendor to provide design coordinator services aimed at facilitating the integration across all design disciplines and ensuring effective change management. The selected vendor will be responsible for reviewing architectural, engineering, and specialty design deliverables, proactively identifying and resolving conflicts, and maintaining comprehensive master design records to track ongoing updates. Coordination meetings with design teams will be facilitated by the vendor, who will also serve as the primary point of contact for all design coordination issues and will document meeting outcomes and action items.

In addition, the scope of work includes conducting design reviews for compliance with applicable codes and project requirements, recommending resolutions for constructability or design conflicts, tracking revisions and approvals, and maintaining detailed coordination logs such as RFIs, revisions, and approvals. The vendor will also provide periodic progress reports summarizing coordination status and issues, and will support the preparation of final, fully coordinated design deliverables. Change management activities are a critical component of this engagement, with the vendor expected to define relevant activities, responsibilities, and deliverables to ensure the successful implementation of upcoming organizational, process, or technology changes. The anticipated contract period is for one year.
