Design-Build Services for Benson Cabin Preservation and Remodel

A government authority in Jackson, WY is seeking a qualified design-build team to provide comprehensive preservation and remodel services for the Benson Cabin. The scope of work includes construction administration and execution that adheres to residential code, historic preservation standards, and applicable liability requirements.

The selected provider will conduct regular progress meetings, beginning with a project kick-off, and continue through key project milestones at the 30% and 75% design submittals as well as throughout the construction phase. Responsibilities include the repair and refinishing of the cabin's exterior—such as installing a new roof, stripping, repairing, and finishing logs, performing chinking repair using NHL 3.5 mortar, addressing deteriorating gable-end soffits, installing a new rear door, and constructing code-compliant entry and exit stairs.
